経歴

Yang Chen received the bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jilin University, China, in 2017 and his master's degree in Human Informatics from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, in 2020 where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree. His doctoral studies mainly include a hands-free control interface and autonomous docking support system for assistive mobility devices. In 2019, from August to October, he visited Learning Algorithms and Systems Laboratory (LASA), EPFL, where he worked on the autonomous docking system for a standing mobility device. From 2022 to 2024, he is working as JSPS research fellow DC2. He joined JRL in Augest, 2021 as an internship student to work on the tele-visualization of Janus project. His research interests include assistive robotics, mobile robotics and teleoperation.
