Cancer/Virus Diagnosis Technology Research Team

Development of convenient, rapid, and high-precision in vitro diagnostic devices for the realization of Universal Medical Access.

As medical care becomes more sophisticated and segmented, the testing technologies used in medical practice are also becoming more complex. Advanced knowledge and expertise are necessary for accurate evaluation of test data, and therefore there are situations where adequate medical care cannot be provided due to lack of equipment and human resources. In our team, researchers who study technology for highly sensitive detection and analysis of biomolecules, and those who study measurement standards work together and collaborate with medical institutions to develop and put into practical use convenient, rapid, and high-precision in vitro diagnostic devices that can support accurate medical treatment for cancer and viral infection.
