Nano-biodevice Research Group

Research Outline

Analytical solutions based on bio-recognition to meet healthcare and medical needs
The Nano-Biodevice Research Group aims to develop innovative bioanalytical technologies that address challenges in medicine and healthcare, with a core focus on advanced bio-recognition.

By integrating expertise in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, electrochemistry, surface chemistry, device engineering, and data science, we pursue a comprehensive approach encompassing:
  • the design of highly sensitive and selective molecular probes
  • the development of measurement platforms compatible with diverse detection modes
  • the analysis of complex data using multivariate statistics and machine learning
Through close collaboration among members with diverse expertise, we develop sensing solutions that function effectively with real-world biological samples. Our technologies target applications such as rapid detection of biomolecules, design and quality assessment of pharmaceuticals, and monitoring of biological states in biofluids, cultured cells, and microbiota—ultimately contributing to the advancement of diagnostics, drug discovery, and life science research.
