Autonomous Solid-State Nanopore Identifies Biomolecules
An international research team including Kazumichi Yokota of AIST has developed an autonomous solid-state nanopore capable of distinguishing individual DNA nucleotides and amino acids. The technology opens new possibilities for next-generation single-molecule sensing, DNA sequencing, diagnostics, and drug discovery.
