Research Outline

Through basic research aimed at high-performance medical materials and regenerative medicine, quality and safety evaluation, clinical translation, standardization activities, and guideline development, we promote the development and social implementation of therapeutic technologies for diseases such as orthopedic disorders and cancer, as well as novel cell manufacturing systems.

Research Introduction

To contribute to the realization of active aging, our group develops highly functional medical materials such as combination products, design technology for adjuvants for cancer immunotherapy, and cancer therapeutic technology that combines immunotherapy and physical therapy. In addition, we are developing technology to monitor and diagnose the treatment effects. We aim to smoothly implement in society treatments that are gentle on the body, prompt treatments, and treatments that are tailored to each individual patient in the fields of orthopedics, cancer treatment, regenerative medicine, and dentistry. Therefore, we are engaged in research and development and regulatory science within a wide range of technologies, from the cellular level to the industrial level.
