Opening up the future of Geo-resources and Environment

The GREEN plays a role as a Japanese research base for solving the issues of ‘energy, environment and resource constraints’ through science and technology.We promote a balanced, multi-layered approach, from basic research that generates original ideas to applied research and development that leads to social implementation. We also implement various large-scale joint research projects that overcome differences in academic backgrounds and technologies.
