Outline

We are engaging the chemical process innovation for materials, chemicals, and related industries. Our main objective is to develop production systems with compatibility in both energy-efficient protocols and environmentally benign ways. The following core technologies have been working on to achieve this goal.

Research Missions

1. Development of reaction control process with specific reaction field
High pressure and/or high temperature(including super critical conditions)
   Micro reaction technology(flow chemical process)
   Catalyst(heterogenous and homogenous)
   Microwave assisted synthesis(device and design)
Neoteric media(design and utilization of ionic liquid)

2.Development of energy efficient separation process with functionalized membrane
Functionalization and characterization of inorganic materials(zeolite, carbon, silica,
   MOF, perovskite, and so on)
Specific separation of small molecules(gasses, water, alcohols, and so on)
Integration of reaction and separation(equilibrium control)

3.Development of novel material processing with inorganic and/or organic hybridization
Nanocomposite materials based on clays or polymers(thermal-, physical-, optical-properties)
Automated screening system for functional materials(flow process and machine learning)

4.Design and assessment of production systems for materials and chemicals
Compatibility in both energy efficiency and cost availability
(life cycle assessment and process optimization)
