Quantum Control Circuit Research Team

Mission

To develop new control and readout technologies for qubits, contributing to the realization of large-scale quantum computers. This includes designing both the qubit devices and their peripheral circuits for control and readout. Furthermore, we will demonstrate the integrated operation of qubits combined with these control and readout circuits. In addition, we will develop process design kits (PDKs) required for circuit design, as well as device evaluation technologies.

Overview

  • Research and development of technologies for qubit control and readout aimed at realizing large-scale quantum computers
  • -Control circuit development using SFQ and AQFP technologies
-Development of readout circuits using superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs)
  • R&D of next-generation superconducting electronics and novel functional devices
