  • Establish a computing infrastructure for exploring use cases utilizing quantum computing technologies

  • Establish the quantum-classical hybrid computing infrastructure “ABCI-Q”

    We are developing a computing infrastructure called “ABCI-Q” that enables easy access to and experimentation with multiple types of quantum computing technologies, in order to support the social implementation and exploration of use cases for quantum computing. ABCI-Q is a hybrid computing platform composed of a GPU-based supercomputer as the classical computing system, and multiple modalities of quantum computers including superconducting, neutral atom, and photonic quantum systems. We conduct research and development of system software, programming frameworks, and user environments to integrate these systems.
