Non-destructive Measurement Group is conducting research for developing non-destructive testing technique to monitor the health of structures and machinery.
We also conduct research for developing test technique for evaluating mechanical properties of carbon fibers and carbon materials.

The active research programs are as follows,
1) development of a system for visualizing ultrasonic propagation
2) development of deformation measurement technique using a moire fringe
3) characterization of physical properties of carbon materials at ultra-high temperatures
