Engine Systems Research Group

Overview

Toward the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050, we conduct research that contributes to the technological development of zero-emission mobility for vehicles. Specifically, our research focuses on the development of carbon-recycled fuel synthesis technologies; leading-edge studies on fuels, sprays, combustion, and exhaust aftertreatment technologies aimed at the development of high-efficiency engine systems; and the development of vehicle models that also encompass power source electrification, together with research on energy management technologies utilizing these models.
