Overview

Toward achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, we conduct research and development aimed at decarbonizing engine systems, improving their efficiency, and achieving near-zero emissions. Our research spans fundamental and pioneering studies on fuels, sprays, combustion, and exhaust aftertreatment, as well as powertrain systems incorporating electrification and energy management, covering both component- and system-level technologies. We also develop technologies, tools, and models to support the effective utilization and evaluation of engine systems.
