AIST-TohokuU Mathematics for Advanced Materials Open Innovation Laboratory
(MathAM-OIL)
We integrate both AIST's computational researches on materials helpful to industrial needs/purposes and Tohoku-Univ.'s world-first analytical researches on materials based on mathematics and theoretical physics, so that we promote creating novel designing principles and methods for highly advanced materials based on 'Mathematical Materials Informatics'. And we also contribute to strengthening Japanese industrial competitiveness by creating brand-new markets through bridging our research-seeds to industrial-needs.
