News
The report “Ethical, Legal, and Social Issue (ELSI) Considerations for Social Implementation of the Interverse” has been published.
This publication was developed to anticipate and address the unintended consequences—specifically ethical, legal, and social issues (ELSI)—that may arise from the adoption and dissemination of the Interverse*.
The first half of the document presents potential ELSI scenarios through short narratives, while the second half identifies and categorizes the key issues emerging from these scenarios. This publication is designed to be read in any order, according to the reader's interests.
*Definition of the Interverse: The "Interverse" is a conceptual framework referring to the fusion of the virtual "Metaverse" and the physical "Universe," as well as the services facilitated by this integration.
