The paper by Post-doctoral Researcher Hideaki Nakajima and colleagues, “Imaging of local structures affecting electrical transport properties of large graphene sheets by lock-in thermography” (Science Advances, Vol. 5, 2019), received the 4th Best Paper Award of the Division of Thin Films and Surfaces Paper Award.

The team leaders of our Center Toshiya Okazaki, Takeo Yamada, and Don Futaba received the AIST President Award.
They were recognized for their contributions in establishing AIST as Japan's core hub for applied research on carbon nanotubes and for fostering the creation of a single walled CNT industry originating in Japan.
