Titration

We use the titration method, which is one of the primary methods, mainly for developmentof amino acid certified reference materials. We are also working on the basic study for more accurate measurement.

Development of a non-aqueous titration method for evaluation of reference materials and endpoint analysis

The titration method using non-aqueous solvent is used for evaluation of reference materials.
In addition to analyzing the uncertainty associated with the measurement, a method to determine the endpoint with higher accuracy from the obtained titration curve is also being investigated.

The reverse titration method is used for evaluation of reference materials.

For compounds such as hydrochloric acid salts for which the purity of the component to be measured cannot be determined directly, the reverse titration method is applied.
In addition to analyzing the uncertainty associated with the measurement, the condition for efficient salt removal also being investigated.

Determination of reference materials by acid-base titration with Kjeldahl method

For nitrogen-containing compounds that cannot be measured by non-aqueous titration method, acid-base titration method with Kjeldahl decomposition method is used.
We analyze the uncertainty associated with the measurement and study the appropriate decomposition conditions.
