The Nature Positive Nasunogahara Alliance (NPNA) is operated by Nasushiobara City, the AIST Nature Positive Technology Implementation Research Center, and the National Institute for Environmental Studies Climate Change Adaptation Center, which serve as the secretariat.

AIST has signed a joint research agreement with Shimokawa Town regarding Nature Positive (nature restoration). By combining Shimokawa Town’s long-standing expertise in circular forest management with AIST’s research on Nature Tech (innovative technologies contributing to nature restoration), we are conducting demonstration research aimed at enhancing the value of local resources and building a sustainable community.
