At the “General Meeting of the Department of Biotechnology and Life Science” held on June 17, 2026, in AIST, Principal Researcher Haruki Odaka, Principal Researcher Tomoko Watanabe, and Senior Research Director Hiroaki Tateno received the “FY2026 Department of Biotechnology and Life Science Director’s Award.” They were honored for their work on the development of single-cell glycomics analysis technologies and their medical applications, among other achievements, as recognized by the Department of Biotechnology and Life Science.
