Research Overview
Mission and Social Implementation Vision
The Integrated Research Center for Advanced Manufacturing promotes research and development of a platform that transforms manufacturing processes into Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) through data-driven collaboration among human workers, robots, and machine tools, together with flexible inter-process coordination. As a pathway toward social implementation, the research outcomes of the Center are integrated into a “Manufacturing CPS Package,” which will be deployed to industry through technology transfer, human resource development, and other activities tailored to the needs of partner organizations.
