Our lab's grand design proposal activities have received the Good Design Award
in the 2025 Good Design Awards, organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion.

Our lab's grand design proposal activities have been honored with the Good Design Award in the FY2025 Good Design Awards, organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion. This recognition highlights our ongoing efforts to explore “possible futures” and “preferred futures,” to envision a future circular economy society, and to engage in collaborative proposals with multiple external stakeholders. These initiatives have been highly evaluated from a design perspective. We will continue to refine our grand design to spark meaningful dialogue among diverse stakeholders.

About the Good Design Award
The Good Design Award is Japan’s only comprehensive design evaluation and recommendation system, organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP). It originated in 1957 as the “Good Design Product Selection System” (commonly known as the G Mark System), established by the former Ministry of International Trade and Industry (now the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry).
