Improving the quality of life through neuroscience & rehabilitation.Neurorehabilitation, which takes into account evidence of the brain's capacity for reorganization, has received attention to ensure maximal functional recovery from brain damage caused by stroke. We are working on neuroscience research and are also developing innovative neurorehabilitation technologies on the basis of scientific evidences for realization of sustainable society with a long healthy life span.

Dr. Kazumi Kasahara, Principal Researcher, has joined our group as a new member.
Dr. Honoka Nakata, an AIST Postdoctoral Researcher, received the 1st Terao Young Researcher Award.
