The 3rd NIMC International Symposium on Photoreaction Control and Photofunctional Materials
On the 100th Anniversary of NIMC
ェ@March 15-17, 2000
AIST Tsukuba Research Center Auditorium
The National Institute of Materials and Chemical Research (NIMC)
launched the "Photoreaction Control and Photofunctional Materials
(PCPM)"project in FY 1997 under the Center of Excellence (COE)
Development Program funded by the Science and Technology Agency
Special Coordination Funds. As a research activity under the project,
this symposium was organized with the aim to disseminate worldwide
the cutting-edge achievements in the fields of photoreaction control
and photofunctional materials through offering presentations by
prominent invited speakers, from Japan and abroad, and facilitating
discussions and exchanges among the participants.
The third gathering of this annual symposium is entitled "PCPM
2000" to commemorate the final year of the 20th century, as well
as the centennial anniversary of establishment of the NIMC. In
celebration of the 100th anniversary of the NIMC, we have prepared
an attractive and substantial program to meet with this special
occasion. It would be our great honor to welcome many of you at
the symposium.
