Abstract
The distinctive feature of the project is that researches on metrology, toxicology and exposure assessment are integrated into a research on risk assessment of manufactured nanomaterials. In the research on metrology, we are developing the methods of measuring the size and shape of non-spherical nanomaterials in various media such as air, water, and sample solution and tissues of animals in toxicity tests. The method of chemical analysis for examining the translocation of nanomaterials in the body of experimental animal is also being developed.
