概要

1 This study presented the first available data of personal exposure and lifetime cancer risk of VOCs and carbonyl compounds in China.

2 There is significant correlation between indoor concentration and personal exposure of VOCs and carbonyl compounds.

3 Solvent using in occupation or lifestyle habits is a source of exposure to some VOCs, smoking is not major source of VOCs personal exposure in China.

4 Either the lifetime cancer risk of exposure to benzene or formaldehyde is as same level as the death risk of fire in China. More attention should be paid to the high risk of exposure to VOCs and carbonyl compounds in China.
