分子座標系における内殻光電子放出角度分布測定

内殻光電子−イオン多重同時計測運動量画像測定を行うと、分子座標系における光電子放出角分布を求めることができる。 このような測定は孤立分子系における光電子回折に対応し、分子構造の情報を含むものである。 最近、直線三原子分子CO2のO 1s光電子角度分布測定を、振動を分離して行うことに成功し、 内殻光電子放出ダイナミクスに関する重要な知見を得ることができた。 図に方向を定めた二酸化炭素分子(CO2)のC1s軌道から放出される光電子の角度分布の一例を示す。


方向を定めた二酸化炭素分子(CO2)のC1s軌道から放出される光電子の角度分布。励起軟X線のエネルギーは320eV。
