Research theme

The Interverse Research Group explores the integration of the physical and cyber worlds to realize an “Interverse” that circulates value back into the real world. Our research focuses on two main areas:
1, Digital‐Twinning human and environments
We develop technologies to construct high-fidelity digital twins of people and environments. This includes indoor positioning, behavioral sensing, recognition and modeling, as well as psychological approaches to understand internal human states.
2, Intervention through XR Technologies
We study and apply XR-based interventions that transcend the limitations of the physical world. Our work includes analyzing behavioral data to improve real-world services and developing applications such as Interverse offices, XR-based workplace training and prototyping.
