The 8th VICTORIES Symposium was held at Akihabara, Tokyo on November 10, 2015 under the theme of
"Optical Networking: New Challenges and Issues", featuring world renowned speakers' speeches on network and applications technologies.
The symposium was co-located with a poster session, where the details of the new technologies studied under VICTORIES were reported.
The symposium was very successful with about 170 participants.
