Administration of the research center

Promoting integration and collaboration activities on various axes is important at this center. We will build a matrix organization administration system based on the innovation hub to promote these activities smoothly and organically.

We have been engaged in vertical collaboration based on a network architecture study group that has been established as a vertical axis for technologies. After 3 years of activities at the center, we have come to truly realize the importance of such vertical collaboration. At the same time, as a horizontal axis for technologies, research units of AIST have promoted the development of underlying technologies based on a framework for joint research carried out in close collaboration with our partners. At the same time, we also promote integration that goes beyond individual underlying technologies in the development of human resources and international standardization, and it is our aim to develop international leaders with a broad vision who will be responsible for the next generation. For that purpose, we also promote the center’s collaboration with external organizations and international exchange.
