Scope of the workshop
The 15th Japan-Taiwan International Workshop on Hydrological and Geochemical Research for Earthquake Prediction will be held in Tsukuba on 7-9 September, 2016 sponsored by the Research Institute of Earthquake and Volcano Geology, Geological Survey of Japan, AIST and the Disaster Prevention Research Center, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan.
The purpose of the workshop is to provide an opportunity to report and discuss the results of hydrological and geochemical research for earthquake prediction mainly in Taiwan and Japan. Since large earthquakes do not happen frequently in any country alone, international exchange of accumulated knowledge and skills will help to promote advancement of the earthquake prediction research.
