Building Digital Twins for Human-Robot Interaction using games engines, a human-centered perspective

概要：
Traditionally, technology has been developed with the focus on making machines more efficient and independent. However, there is a growing interest in approaches that prioritize human needs and well-being, such as Industry 5.0 and Society 5.0. These approaches emphasize the importance of considering factors like the democratization of technology, ergonomics, user experience, and overall benefit to humans. This talk starts with a short overview of the different perspectives that focus on the human aspect of technology. Then, it was presented the technologies commonly used to create digital twins. Finally, it was presented a software architecture that can help to make Human-Robot Interaction applications more user-friendly and accessible for a wide range of users.
