To keep good health, we are developing the removing and/or detoxifying technologies of chemical substances and microorganisms hazardous to human health even in very small amounts. Furthermore, we are developing the method for assaying biological effect of various nanomaterials which may adversely affect our health. To promote good health, we are developing the method for quantitative analysis of functional ingredients in food. We contribute to the promotion of local food industry though the development.

Development of high performance ion selective adsorbents for arsenic ion, phosphate ion, cesium ion, and so on and application to purification of drinking water.
Development of antibacterial product with inorganic antimicrobial agent usable in water environment.
Assaying of biological effect of nanomaterials such as carbon nanotube (CNT), indium tin oxide (ITO), and so on.
Developing the method for quantitative analysis of functional ingredients in food.
