文部科学省「情報科学を活用した地震調査研究プロジェクト」（STAR-Eプロジェクト）の研究課題「信号処理と機械学習を活用した地震波形ビッグデータ解析による地下断層の探索」に参画して、人工知能研究センターと協力して、信号処理や機械学習を活用して地震波形データを解析し、震源分布・震源メカニズム解や後続波を用いて地下断層を探索する研究を行う。プロジェクトの詳細は文部科学省のホームページを参照のこと。なお、本人の希望により、エフォートの20%を上限として、研究業務の推進に資する自発的な研究活動を認める場合がある。 (Job Description: We seek a scholar who will perform research to explore underground faults using hypocenter distribution and focal mechanism solutions and later phases of seismic waves by analyzing seismic waveform data using signal processing and machine learning. The applicant will conduct the research activity under the research project "Exploration of underground faults by seismic wave big data using signal processing and machine learning" of the MEXT STAR-E Project and in cooperation with the Artificial Intelligence Research Center of AIST. Additional research activities that contribute to the promotion of this research may be permitted up to 20% of the work time upon the applicant's request.) |
