Presented the Grand Design Research Approach at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers

At the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers, Masahide Ban from our laboratory spoke in the session “From Innovation to Design-Driven Transition.”

In his presentation, “From Future Vision to Transition,” he introduced our research approach to Grand Design.

He also participated in the subsequent panel discussion with Professor Fujita of Osaka University and the other speakers, where they discussed key issues and exchanged perspectives on the use of the transition concept in fostering innovation.
