Our Lab Members gave a presentation at a Meeting of the Japan Techno-Economy Society (JATES).

On Thursday, January 29, Osamu Hoshino and Koshi Kamigaki gave a presentation and exchanged opinions at Japan Techno-Economy Society (JATES) held at Shufu Kaikan Plaza F in Tokyo.
In Part 1, a lecture titled “Exploring Approaches to Co‑creation for Realizing a Circular Society” was presented to JATES general members (approximately 60 participants, including online attendees). Following an introduction to the H-AIST CE Lab. and its standardization activities, the speakers outlined key elements for implementing a circular economy, including the concept of evaluating the “residual value” of used products, components and materials as scores based on information structures.
In Part 2, an in‑person opinion‑exchange session (approximately 20 participants) was held with Special Committee members of JATES, focusing on the implementation of Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives in the circular economy. The discussion addressed approaches to conducting circular‑economy PoCs currently under consideration by the Committee.
