We introduced our lab's initiatives at the Life Cycle Engineering Committee of the Japan Society for Precision Engineering held at the University of Tokyo. Deputy Lab Director Masui presented the background and overview of the lab's establishment, while Lab Director Miyazaki discussed the formulation of the grand design for a Circular Economy society and efforts towards international standardization. Additionally,Specified Concentrated Research Specialist Kono gave a lecture titled 'H-AIST Version Life Cycle Simulator and Case Study'. After the presentations, we engaged in about an hour of questions and comments from experts in life cycle simulation and circular economy, deepening the discussion on the utilization of life cycle simulation.
