Introduction

In many of the world's innovation hubs, universities, research institutes, and companies integrate their findings and collaborate on research and development. This is often found in IT industry.

Then, is it possible to create such a base for zero emission technology? Answer is YES. Indeed around the Tokyo Bay area, there are many research laboratories, factories/business offices, research institutes, and universities of various energy suppliers/users such as electric power, gas, petroleum, chemical, electric machinery, and automobile industries.
The collaboration of these institutions in R&D, demonstration, and business will create the world's largest R&D center for zero-emission technology and become a starting point for promotion and massive diffusion of those technology to society.

Tokyo Zero-emission Innovation Bay, which is a council called “Zero-emission Bay”, aims to make the Tokyo Bay Area the first zero-emission innovation hub in the world, develops and actualizes the concept.
