The sandwich-like photoanode of ZnO nanoporous
film/dye/polypyrrole(PPy) has been studied
using photocurrent action spectroscopy, potential dependence of photocurrent
and
UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy. The results were compared with these of
composite
films of ZnO nanoporous film/PPy and ZnO nanoporous film/dye. The results
shows that the ZnO nanoporous film/dye/PPy as a photoanode has a higher
efficiency
of light-electricity conversion and a red-shift of wavelength was observed
on the photocurrent action spectrum. The transferring mechanism of the photo-
produced electrons was discussed. The efficiency of light-electricity
conversion
for ZnO nanoporous film/dye/PPy as the photoanode of solar cell is 1.25% and
the filling factor is 0.75.
