Using of free electron lasers in performing the reactions of molecular dissociation caused by sequntial absorption of several IR quanta (IR MPD)looks perspective comparing to usually used in this field radiation sources for several reasons. Two of them are the possibility to tune the laser radiation in a very wide spectral and a short duration(about picosec) of powerful pulse . We carried out the MPD of different molecules (HCOOH, C2H5Cl, CH3NO2, etc) pumping different stretch vibrations (C-H, C=O, N=O) in different spectral regions with the "Mark III" free electron laser. The MPD when a "spectrally isolated" C-H stretch was excited was performed for the first time. The 12C/13C isotope-selective MPD of HCOOH molecules when C=O stretch vibrational band was exsited and also the 14N/15N isotope selective MPD of CH3NO2 when N=O antisymmetric vibrational band was excited have been performed.
