Infrared predissociation reactions in hydrogen bonded clusters
Taisuke Nakanaga
NIMC

The infrared predissociation reaction of hydrogen bonded clusters was measured using Infrared laser and TOF-MS spectromery, and the possiblitiy of the mode selective dissociation of the hydrogen bonded clusters has been discussed. Aniline-DME and aniline-DME-Water clusters in a supersonic jet were detected by TOF-MS spectrometry with F2 laser which can ionize the clusters by single photon absorption with minimum excess energy, It has been shown that the clusters actually dissciate when it absorbed an infrared photon through NH stretching vibrations.
