研究グループ・室	超分散アーキテクチャ研究グループ
研究内容または業務内容	超分散アーキテクチャ研究グループでは、クラウドからエッジ、デバイスに至るまでの超分散コンピューティングコアにおいて、アプリケーションの高性能化・高機能化を支える基盤技術や、エッジと連携して大規模AI計算を支えるクラウド技術の研究を推進しています。クラウドでは高スループット、エッジでは低レイテンシが求められる中、リアルタイム性・省エネ・高性能化という課題に対し、ハードウェアとソフトウェアの協調設計（Co-design）による研究を進めています。さらに、産総研内外との連携を通じて、新たな半導体技術に基づく次世代技術の研究開発も進めています。産総研第一号契約職員（ポスドク）として、グループが推進する研究プロジェクトに参画し、プロジェクトの目標達成に向けて主体的に研究活動を行っていただきます。研究課題の設定から、新たな手法の検討・考案、評価・検証、論文執筆に至るまで、受け身ではなく、自ら責任を持って研究を推進することが求められます。特に、研究成果の発信を重視し、国内外の学術論文誌・国際会議等への論文投稿を積極的に行っていただきます。研究は、個人の関心のみに基づくものではなく、プロジェクトの目的や全体方針、研究コンテキストを十分に理解した上で実施していただきます。プロジェクトの方向性に沿った研究を行い、自身が担当する研究内容や成果については自ら責任を持つことが求められます。また、研究所およびプロジェクトで定められた各種ルールや手続きを正しく遵守した上で、研究成果の最大化を目的として、産総研内外の研究者や関係機関と積極的に連携して研究を推進していただきます。周囲との円滑なコミュニケーションと協調性を重視し、チームの一員として議論・検討を重ねながら、プロジェクト全体への貢献が期待されます。当研究グループは国際的なメンバー構成であり、日本語を母語としない方の応募も歓迎します。研究活動や日常的なコミュニケーションにおいて英語を用いる場面も多く、多様なバックグラウンドを持つ研究者が活躍しています。一方で、研究を円滑に進め、責任ある研究管理を行うためには、日本語のみで提供される各種情報（研究所内の手続き、ルール、連絡事項等）についても内容を正しく理解することが求められます。機械翻訳等の支援ツールを適切に活用しても構いませんが、最終的には自身の責任において情報を理解し、適切に対応できることが必要です。 The Continuum Computing Architecture Research Group conducts research on fundamental technologies that support high-performance and highly functional applications on ultra-distributed computing cores ranging from the cloud to the edge and devices. We also promote research on cloud technologies that support large-scale AI computing in collaboration with edge systems. While high throughput is required in the cloud and low latency is required at the edge, we address challenges such as real-time performance, energy efficiency, and high performance through hardware–software co-design. In addition, through collaborations both within and outside AIST, we are advancing research and development of next-generation technologies based on novel semiconductor technologies. As a Postdoctoral Researcher (AIST Contract Employee Type I), you will participate in research projects promoted by the group and engage in research activities proactively toward achieving the project goals. You are expected to take responsibility for driving your research independently, from setting research topics, devising and exploring new methods, and conducting evaluation and validation, to writing research papers, rather than working in a passive manner. In particular, active dissemination of research outcome is emphasized, and you are expected to actively submit papers to domestic and international academic journals and conferences. Research activities should not be based solely on personal interests, but should be conducted with a thorough understanding of the project objectives, overall policies, and research context. You are required to conduct research aligned with the project direction and to take responsibility for the research topics and outcome you are in charge of. In addition, while properly complying with various rules and procedures defined by the institute and the project, you are expected to actively collaborate with researchers and related organizations both within and outside AIST in order to maximize research outcomes. Smooth communication and cooperativeness with surrounding members are essential, and contributions to the project as a whole are expected through discussions and examinations as a member of the team. Our research group has an international member composition, and applications from candidates whose native language is not Japanese are welcome. English is frequently used in research activities and daily communication, and researchers with diverse backgrounds are active in the group. On the other hand, in order to conduct research smoothly and carry out responsible research management, it is necessary to properly understand information provided only in Japanese (such as internal procedures, rules, and announcements of the institute). While it is acceptable to appropriately use support tools such as machine translation, candidates are ultimately required to understand such information on their own responsibility and respond appropriately.

応募資格	博士号を有し、かつ、優れた研究能力を有すると認められる研究業務に従事する方。博士の学位は、雇用予定日において、学位取得後７年以内の者に限る。同区分での雇用歴が5年未満の者に限る。
募集人員	若干名
給与	時給制2,200円～2,500円（当所規定により決定）
雇用期間	2026年4月1日～2027年3月31日
試用期間	有（１ヶ月）
更新可能性の有無	有（以下の基準により、更新することがある）
更新基準及び最長雇用期間	当人の能力、勤務成績、勤務態度、従事している業務の進捗状況、契約満了時の業務量、予算の状況、その他諸事情を踏まえ、更新することがある。ただし、2028年3月31日を超えての更新は行わない。（また、研究所に初めて雇い入れられた日から雇用期間を通算して５年を超えないものとする。）
