| 研究内容または業務内容 |
We are seeking researchers to work on foundational technologies for emerging language generation models, including diffusion language models and flow-based models, under the NEDO project “Foundation for Real-world Omni-Native Trustworthy Intelligence and Alignment.” Successful candidates will work exclusively on this NEDO project.
Research will focus on pretraining, distillation, acceleration, and improvement of large-scale diffusion and flow-based language models. Topics may include multi-GPU training, distillation from LLMs, inference acceleration, synthetic data generation, external knowledge integration, multimodal modeling, and architectural improvements. We aim to develop methods applicable to large-scale models and produce research suitable for top-tier conferences.
NEDOプロジェクト「AIロボット・フィジカルAIを見据えたマルチモーダル基盤モデル開発事業」において、拡散言語モデルやフローベースモデルなど、新しい言語生成AIの基盤技術に関する研究者を募集します。採用者は本NEDOプロジェクトに専従していただきます。
大規模な拡散言語モデル・フローモデルの実現に向け、事前学習、蒸留、高速化、モデル改善等の研究に従事していただきます。研究テーマは、並列GPU学習、LLMからの蒸留、推論高速化、データ合成、外部知識利用、マルチモーダル連携、アーキテクチャ改良等を想定していますが、これらに限りません。大規模モデルへの応用を見据え、トップカンファレンスへの採択を目指す研究を推進します。 |

| 応募資格 |
Required qualifications:
・Applicants must have obtained, or be expected to obtain a Ph.D. degree.
・Applicants must be within 7 years of obtaining the Ph.D. degree at the time of appointment.
・Applicants must have been employed in the same job title for less than 5 years.
・Experience developing deep learning models using PyTorch and Hugging Face
・Basic knowledge of large language models (LLMs)
Preferred qualifications:
・Experience using Linux-based cloud servers
・Experience with multi-GPU acceleration and parallelization
・Basic knowledge of diffusion models
・Experience training models on large-scale datasets
・Experience publishing and presenting papers at top-tier international conferences
必須条件：
・博士号を取得済み、または取得見込みであること
・採用時において博士号取得後7年以内であること
・同区分での雇用歴が5年未満であること
・PyTorchやHuggnigfaceを用いた深層学習モデルの開発経験
・大規模言語モデルについての基礎知識

ただし、2030年3月31日を超えての更新は行わない。

Working time: 5 days a week, 7 hours 45 minutes a day with 1 hour of Lunch time (for example from 9:30 to 18:15), flexible time system is possible. Telework is generally permitted for up to half of the working days in a month, with details to be discussed on an individual basis.
