人物作業映像からのロボット学習に関する研究/Research on physical AI aimed at acquiring embodied knowledge and movement strategies from videos
JST CREST「実環境知能システムを実現する基礎理論と基盤技術の創出」領域における研究課題「身体が考えるロボット基盤モデル: MORAL」の実施にあたり、本課題を担当するポスドク研究員を募集します。
人の作業映像から、全身運動・物体マニピュレーションに関する知識を抽出し、ロボットが製品の組立やメンテナンスといった器用かつ複雑な構造を持つマニピュレーションを行えるようにするための研究およびVLAモデルの開発を行います。人物行動理解・ロボット学習・言語理解の横断領域に興味を持つ方を募集します。
We are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to work on the research project "Robot Foundation Model Where the Body Thinks: MORAL" within the JST CREST area of
"Fundamentals and Core Technologies for Embodied AI".
We conduct research and develop VLA models to extract knowledge about whole-body movements and object manipulation from videos of human work, enabling robots to perform dexterous and complex manipulation tasks such as product assembly and maintenance. We are looking for individuals interested in the interdisciplinary fields of human behavior understanding, robot learning, and language understanding. |

必須条件：
・採用時において博士号取得後７年以内であること。同区分（ポスドク）での雇用歴が５年未満であること。
・ロボティクス、コンピュータビジョンまたはその周辺領域において優れた研究業績を有すること。
・PyTorchなどの深層学習ライブラリでの開発経験を有すること。

・自然言語処理に関する研究開発経験
・ロボティクス（特に模倣学習、マニピュレーション）に関する研究開発経験
・ロボット学習に関する研究開発経験

Required:
・ Must have obtained a doctoral degree within 7 years of the time of hiring. Employment history in the same category (postdoctoral researcher) must be less than 5 years.
・ Must have outstanding research achievements in robotics, computer vision, or related fields.
・ Must have experience developing with deep learning libraries such as PyTorch.
Preferred skills and experience:
・ Research and development experience in video processing
・ Research and development experience in natural language processing
・ Research and development experience in robotics (especially imitation learning and manipulation)
・ Research and development experience in robot learning
・Experience in hand-object interaction modeling
・ Experience in building and managing datasets/benchmarks |
