Online Visit

Visit AIST Wherever You Are

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, AIST is not only conducting cutting-edge R&D, but also making efforts to change our working environment to tackle the virus.
In a brand-new undertaking, the Global Collaboration Office now offers a new online visiting service. This service is intended for groups of researchers and officials of public organizations (research institutions, governments, public benefit corporations, etc.) and university students.

In an Online Visit, PowerPoint presentations of an overview of AIST, and our recent research achievements in your field of interest, will be presented by a member of the Global Collaboration Office staff. Each visit will conclude with a Q&A session.
The online platforms used for this service are Microsoft Teams and Zoom, both of which can be accessed for free from your PC or mobile device, either via the Microsoft Teams or Zoom App, or via a commonly used web browser, such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.

What Happens in an Online Visit

The maximum duration of an online visit is 90 minutes, and will consist of an overview of AIST, an introduction of our research outcomes in your field of interest, and a Q&A session.
