分子機能応用研究グループ

研究概要

培養細胞が盛んに利活用される昨今、これまで以上にこれら細胞を精密に制御する技術へのニーズが高まっています。また、生体機能を司るバイオ分子として、糖タンパクが注目されています。
私たちは、光応答性ポリマーやDNA・RNAなどの高分子、フッ素化脂質で意のままに細胞を操作する、そして糖タンパクを生産・機能化・分析するためのたくさんの要素技術を確立し、その応用・実用化を進めています。

研究課題

研究課題1:細胞を操る分子技術
研究担当者:須丸 公雄・高木 俊之・馬場 照彦・佐野 将之

新開発の光応答ポリマーを用いて培養細胞を思いのままに配列・選別する技術、持続発現型RNAベクターを用いて細胞のリプログラミング・機能発現解析を行う技術、細胞の機能化への展開が期待されるフッ素化脂質、膜タンパク操作技術を開発しました。

研究課題2:糖タンパク質製造分析技術
研究担当者:亀山昭彦・浅田眞弘・横尾岳彦・千葉靖典

新しい膜電気泳動法により、巨大糖タンパクの精密分析を実現しました。また、特別な酵母で有用な糖タンパク質を大量かつ安価に生産する技術、タンパク質に糖鎖を付加し、生体内での安定性や標的選択性を向上させる技術を開発しました。
