Because of COVID-19, we had to postpone TICS 9 to next year. The revised date is temporary planned to be December 6 and 7 of 2021. Please mark your calendar. Instead, as a preview of TICS 9, we would like to hold a special seminar regarding the coatings for hydrogen society.
“Environmental Innovation Strategy” was set up by the government of Japan in 2020 as the fundamental policy to resolve the environmental issues of our planet Earth. With this strategy, it aims to establish innovative technology to enable the world-wide carbon neutral, and further to reduce the stock-based CO2 accumulated in the past to “Beyond Zero” by 2050 (Dr. Akira Yoshino, Director of Global Zero Emission Research Center, AIST).
We consider that hydrogen will be the key to establishing the zero emission society. We have asked Professor Thomas Klassen, Director of the Division “Materials Technology,” Institute of Materials Research, Helmholtz-Zentrum Geesthacht, Germany to give a keynote speech on this hydrogen society. We would like to discuss what we can do with our coating technologies for coming hydrogen society through this special seminar. Everyone is welcome to join in this seminar.
We have sent a link to the meeting by email to each of you who signed-up from our webpage.
If you haven’t received it, please email us directly at "henmi.atsuko(at)aist.go.jp".
Thank you for your participant and we are looking forward to seeing you at the seminar.
