Abstract

Ozone is produced in air masses containing the primary pollutants during transport for several hours from source areas. Three-dimensional simulation of such pollutants is an almost established technique today, using a mesoscale meteorological model with a pollutant transport process and a chemical reaction model. The author has investigated a methodology of a long-term assessment by using this kind of model system. The present analysis is an attempt to support this methodology from the viewpoint of measured data.
