About us
| Vision and Manipulation Research Group is pursuing research on intelligent
manipulation system that can be practically used for many purposes in many
fields. The basic research includes advanced 3-D vision (VVV), intelligent
sensing, intelligent control, soft-material manipulation, etc. They are essential technologies for advanced intelligent robots working in many fields as factories, home and outdoors. We are now focusing on upgrading accuracy and robustness of manipulation using multi-sensor information to expand robots sphere of activities. And we are also studying on RT middleware that is the key technology for rapid system prototypes for robot system integration. |
