Announcement of the 8th Asian Geothermal Symposium

The 8th Asian Geothermal Symposium will be held in Hanoi city, Vietnam , 9-12 December 2008. The theme of the symposium is "Geothermal Energy : Emerging issues and its role in energy security and environmental protection for Asia". Please join us in the symposium to begin widespread information exchanges and discussion for future geothermal developments!
The symposium will be followed by an excursion to Halong Bay, a beautiful coastal area of World Natural Heritage, with a stop at Trang Kenh development site for direct use of geothermal energy. We firmly believe that a forum for information exchange on geothermal energy among Asian countries, to accelerate international cooperation on technical, legal and economical assistances and to expand a cooperation network of geothermal developments throughout Asia would contribute to the world in energy security and environmental points of view!
