Energetic Materials Research Group

 About Us

Substances, that can store and rapidly release large amounts of energy like explosives are called energetic materials. Energetic Materials Group analyzes explosions in terms of chemistry to determine the reaction mechanisms of energetic materials and develop technologies for energetic materials' safety, molecular design and risk assessment.

 Topics
  • Ai Funakoshi, one of the members of our group, won the Young Researchers Award in the 2008 fiscal year at JSSE.
  • Now we are constructing Physical Hazard Database for Chemicals, which will include the whole information about physical hazard of chamicals.

  • 05/13/2004, Miyako Akiyoshi, one of the researchers of our Research Group, won "Technical Prize" at "The spring meeting for reading research papers", hosted by Japan Explosives Society.
