| In the 2003 fiscal year, we constructed and introduced PC Cluster that
consists of 128 CPU, in order to perform simulation of explosion, detonation
and destruction etc. from the view point of explosion safety evaluation. Objects of simulation include large-scale three-dimensional calculation, so vast memory space and CPU power are necessary. PC cluster can fulfill these conditions at the laboratory level and excels in the points of budget and expense for maintenance and control. |
