In the field of power source utilization technology based mainly in the civil and transportation sectors, it is very important from the viewpoint of environmental conservation to achieve higher efficiency and cleaner emissions, to develop technologies using new fuels in engines and achieve energy diversification. We currently research in the following areas:
- Combustion technology and emission technology for engine systems that utilize the new fuels DME (dimethyl ethyl) and GTL (gas to liquid - synthetic diesel oil)
- Technology for measuring and removing nano-particles from diesel exhaust gas
- Development of a method to assess and test the next generation of highly efficient vehicles that possess intelligent drive and braking mechanisms
- Technology to achieve more sophisticated tire drive and braking control
